About Red Rocks Builders, Inc.
Our History
Red Rocks Builders is a fully owned subsidiary of 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty has been in business 31 years. We have A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. Since our inception we have provided warranties on over 2,500,000 new American homes through 15,000 home builders. With the formation of Red Rocks Builders in 2010 we have gotten back to our roots as home builders. Many of our employees and managers came out of the homebuilding industry, and we have been active members of local home builder associations and the National Association of Home Builders since our founding. Our company President, Paul Thomas, is a 35 year home building veteran. He was a member of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver Quality Construction Committee from 1994-2007, and has taught a certification class for construction superintendents twice yearly. It is exciting for us to see the many advancements in homebuilding over just the past decade or two. Foundations are more extensively reinforced, and the frame incorporates strong shear walls and metal connections. Homes are many times more energy efficient thanks to improvements in insulation, tightness of ductwork and building envelope, and high efficiency furnaces and water heaters. Our passion for all things building can be summed up in the words of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow: "Ah, to build, to build! That is the noblest art of all the arts. Painting and sculpture are but images, are merely shadows cast by outward things on stone or canvas, having in themselves no separate existence. Architecture, existing in itself, and not in seeming a something it is not, surpasses them as substance shadow."

Homes constructed by Red Rocks Builders carry the 2-10 warranty provided by 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. This warranty provides 1 year workmanship, 2 year systems and appliances, and 10 years structural coverage. In addition to the standard one year Whirlpool warranty on appliances, Red Rocks is providing a 2nd year extended service contract.
Also, 2-10 HBW warranties carry an insurance backed new home warranty unlike the majority of builder backed warranties that you will find in the market, which are good only if the builder is in business, the insurance backed warranty has funds set aside at closing to insure any possible future claims.
